Brain food break in Room 21. Check out the variety of snacks we eat to feed our brains.

Every day we stop and have a 5 minute Brain Food break at 10.00am. We eat a healthy snack. Have a look and see the wide variety of brain food snacks the children in Room 21 eat. We made a book for our library corner with photos we took.

This little man ate the most amazing amount of food. He will need a big lunch box when he goes to school. He will also be a winner in the cross country...he can run fast.

Maths in Room 21. Week 1 term 1

In Maths we have been learning about measuring length. We found out the longest snake in the world is 6 metres long. We measured this out in our classroom using metre length straws. We then tried to work out how many 10cm straws matched the length of a 6 metre snake. 

Some children made snakes out of playdough. Maddie's snake was longer than Chloe and Mrs Boyd's snake.

Painting in Room 21

We have a candidate teacher called Miss Price. She will be working in our room during the year. She helped us learn how to use the painting easels without making too much mess.
We painted pictures of the cars we would like to drive in. We got some good ideas from our shared Reader 'Car Shopping'.
